Videography: My undying love, obsession & passion
I've always been entranced by music videos, and always wanted to be in one, directing or editing since I was younger. Many in the business see music videos as just a commercial for a song, which it essentially is, but they can also tell a story and enhance the song's meaning and beat. That's what I aspire to do in my near future, freelance music videos. However, until I can afford to produce a high-quality music video, I do Maroon 5 recuts for fun. I'll be honest, they're pretty awesome and although they can be frustrating, it's something I'm passionate about and love to do. I started doing this in the summer of 2013, and have improved a lot in re-cutting videos, syncing the scenes to the remixed/demo music.
Even more so, I create independent videos, from world issues to self-promo to school projects. I've been doing this since I was 7 years old, and hope to do more indie videos in the future, especially my own music videos (as opposed to transforming somebody else's work).
Don't laugh, but I also do A LOT of lyric videos…yeah, the 12 year old fangirl inside of me hasn't quite grown up yet.
Currently, there are two videos in the works that I will be uploading/producing soon. These are actually my two favourite endeavours, one a re-cut and one indie. Stay tuned!
